GAME FORMAT:
The format remains the same: a preliminary group stage (round-robin) followed by a knockout stage. All matches will be played to the first nine games, with a standard tiebreak at 8-8. All games will be decided by a golden point. Finals will be best-of-three sets with a super tiebreak if the score is tied at one set apiece.
The top 2 teams from each group and the best third-placed teams will qualify for the final elimination phase, depending on the number of groups in each category.
REGISTRATION + PAYMENT:
Each player will register for the category that corresponds to their skill level. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask us and we will be happy to guide you.
If the player plays in 2 categories (Male or Female and Mixed), the player will receive the welcome pack x 2.
Payment will be made exclusively online. Only male/female doubles with mixed doubles are allowed; never two categories of the same gender.
Payment can be made until Tuesday, September 26th at 10:00 AM, which is when we close registrations and start preparing the tournament brackets and schedules. If you have not made the payment before that date and time, you will not be able to participate.
Early Bird Payment €26 before 06/09 at 23h.
Regular Payment €29 until 26/09 at 10am.
In case of injury, or any type of incident that prevents you from playing in the tournament before registration closes, you will receive a direct refund once registration closes.
Once the registration period has closed, registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. However, we do offer the possibility of finding another person in the same category to take your place. We are very strict about this for the smooth running of the event and the benefit of all participants.
RANKING:
The ranking will be individual.
Once the Masters tournament is over, we will publish the Final Season Ranking, and the top two finishers in each category will receive a Barcelona Padel Tour kit consisting of a shirt, shorts/skirt, sweatshirt, and softshell jacket, as well as free entry to all events in the 2024 season. The prize can be collected at the official Barcelona Padel Tour store located at Calle Salvador Espriu, 5 in Sant Just Desvern. (Check opening hours on Google.)
* In case of a tie between more than 2 players, tournaments played will be considered first, and then tournaments won.
*Categories that have not completed 4 or more tournaments will not be counted for the Final Ranking.

1st Category Male/Female: €400 cash + 2 Inedit + 2 Trophies
1st Mixed Category: 2 Royal Padel Whips + 2 Inedit + 2 Trophies
2nd Category Male/Female/Mixed: 2 Enrique Tomás Iberian Hams + 2 Inedit + 2 Trophies
3rd Category Male/Female/Mixed: 2 pairs of Joma WPT shoes + 2 Inedit items + 2 trophies
4th Category Male/Female/Mixed: 2 Royal Padel padel bags + 2 Inedit bags + 2 trophies
* All finalists will receive a trophy + Inedit + Clinic with WPT Players

CLINIC / EXHIBITION MATCH:
On Sunday, October 1st, after the final matches, a clinic will begin with the three players sponsored by the Barcelona Padel Tour (Jose Diestro, Pincho Fernandez, and Nacho Vilariño) and our good friend Toni Bueno. Following the clinic, they will play an exhibition match on center court.
All finalist couples from the Master will be able to participate in the Clinic and we will hold a draw for 25 more people who have registered to participate in said Clinic.
DJ + LIVE MUSIC + GINTONIC:
On Sunday, October 1st, after the Exhibition match, around 6 PM, we'll have a DJ set by Gummius to kick off the Master 2022/2023 final party with the best Techno Music of the moment. Following that, JAVI ROS will join us to keep the party going with his signature Rumba rhythms. Around 8:30 PM, we'll take a break for the prize draw, and once that's over, JAVI ROS will continue the party, bringing it to a close around 10:30 PM.
SCORING SYSTEM:
There will be 3 types of Tournaments: GOLD, PLATINUM and MASTER.
The tournament that will award the most points is the MASTER, followed by the PLATINUM and the GOLD.
